Thursday Prayer
It’s Thursday and you know what that means; today is our designated day of prayer. We will pray together today at 6:30 pm. If you are not able to physically make it to the prayer meeting location you can join us in spirit. We have received a few prayer requests for this week. We are continuing to pray for Cheree whom has been diagnosed with advanced stages of breast cancer, we will pray for her healing, faith and strength. We are praying for Elise and the prayer requests that she submitted on this morning. We are praying for Tiffany and the prayer requests that she submitted this afternoon. In addition, I am praying that millions of mothers will be touched by this ministry and great works will be done through this ministry. We will pray that God’s will is done in each of these situations. We will also continue to stand on our weekly prayer points listed below. It is so important that we stand together in prayer, “For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:20).
Love should be the motivating force behind EVERYTHING that we do. Therefore, I also want to continue to pray that we operate in love at ALL times, especially when we don’t feel like it. For the word tells us, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8). The word also says, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” (John 15:12). If we can just learn to love always, no matter what, things will always turn out well and happiness will be sure to follow.
Weekly prayer points are as follows…
We are praying that our family, friends and loved ones receive salvation and live lives that are submitted to the Lord.
We are praying that we maintain health and strength in the midst of it all.
We are praying that our children are always covered by the blood of Jesus and they make godly decisions and live submitted lives.
We are also standing with all the mothers attached to this ministry and mothers worldwide that God’s will be done in their lives.
Thank you for standing with us and lifting up the prayer requests that have been laid before us. Remember to thank Him in advance. God bless you!
Be sure to tune in tomorrow for more words of encouragement and inspiration for M.O.M.’s near and far! Please share this blog with as many people as you know (www.savedmom.com), we have so many lives to touch. If you are not able to physically make it to the prayer meeting location you can join us in spirit. We have received a few prayer requests for this week. We also have another mother that was touched by yesterday’s post and wants to make a much needed career move. We will pray that God’s will is done in each of these situations. Prayer Requests
We are about to have our weekly prayer meeting in less than an hour. We have several prayer requests that we are asking that you stand with us in. We will begin prayer around 12 noon today and would love for you to join us where ever you may be. If you can’t pray with us at 12 you can stand with us in what we are praying for today whenever your schedule permits.
First we want to start our prayer by asking that the Lord help us all to operate in love at all times.

Fatherly Love
Earlier this morning I was reflecting on Father’s Day and thought about all of the fathers out there that have not received salvation. Just imagine how different our world would be if more fathers stepped up to the plate concerning their spirituality. As mothers, there are some things that we can do to help lead and guide them to salvation. It is so important that our sons and daughters see fathers that are truly living for God.About a year ago I had a conversation with a close friend about the things that she did to turn her husband’s heart towards God. They were not saved when they got married, but she received salvation a few years later and want her husband to receive salvation as well. It amazed me when she explained the things that she did to encourage him to give his life to the Lord. She really took time out to make his salvation top priority. She told me that she constantly prayed and interceded on his behalf. Just to give you a couple of examples of other things that she did; she placed handkerchiefs that had been anointed under his pillow and under the driver seat in his car and she modeled Godly behavior around him at all times. I have known her husband for several years now and I always admired his spiritual walk. I never for one moment thought that he wasn’t saved before they met.
I wanted to give you all a tangible example of what “standing in the gap” for our men can do and how much of a difference it can make. We should pray for them and deal with them in love, not force God or church on them. If they see us truly living a surrendered life on a daily basis and always dealing with them in love (even when we don’t want to) it can make all the difference. We should look beyond their present faults and sins and show them love anyway. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8). Also, consider that if our children see us dealing with their fathers in this way they too will deal with others in love. They will also have a great example of how they should one day maintain Godly relationships with their mates.

Word Wednesday
Today is officially “Word Wednesday” otherwise known as “Hump Day”. We’ve made it half way through yet another week on the wonderful, exciting and bumpy road of motherhood. Therefore, some of us are looking for some encouraging words to make it through the rest of the week with Joy and Peace. Every night before my son goes to bed, in addition to reading bible stories, I read him a passage out of “Prayers That Avail Much, First Blessings for Your Child” by Germaine Copeland. Mommies we have to keep our children prayed up and constantly put Gods word in their hearts.Yesterday’s passage read, “God knows the end from the beginning. I pray that everything you do in your life’s work will be done in love, in a true love to God and man that is inspired by God’s love for you.” Love, love, love… it’s the key that opens all the doors. Every important relationship that we have is driven by love. When I think of the love that I have for my child, it’s hard for me to imagine that God’s love for us is even greater. That’s so amazing! It’s so wonderful to know that God loves us more than we love could ever comprehend. No matter what we do or what we say, his love is unwavering.
We must take a page out of the Good Book and live our lives loving others as God loves us. If everyone could truly do this the world would be such a marvelous place. I know that it is not always easy to love others, especially those that we may not like very much. Nevertheless, why don’t you take a moment to push past your flesh and give it a try? Then watch God bless your efforts and see how much better you feel. The word says, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8). There are so many people that have hurt me in my lifetime. However, it wasn’t until I made a decision to TRULY forgive them and love them in spite of what they did to me, could I really enjoy everyday life. I am making it a daily mission to show my son this type of love and instill this value in him so that he can always enjoy everyday life. How about you?
